Graceland was created to honor a very special Rescue Dog named Gracie that touched our hearts deeply. Although Gracie's life could not be spared, she certainly inspired us to continue to fight for the lives and well-being of so many other animals in need. Check out Gracie's Story.
Due to the amount and special needs of the dogs in our sanctuary program, we are no longer taking in Owner Surrenders. Please see our "Local Resources" page for more help. If you would like to help by donating to our Sanctuary Dogs, please see our page on ways you can help. Thank You!
At Graceland, we rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals in need from all over the United States. We rescue from High Kill Shelters and we work with those in the community that can no longer care for their pets. We work hard to give these deserving animals a second chance at a happy, healthy life. We need foster families in order to fulfill this commitment. The more fosters we have, the more lives we are collectively able to save.
Graceland Animal Rescue & Sanctuary is a Foster-based Rescue that believes that by working together with our community, we can help animals that are at risk, homeless or displaced. Instead of putting dogs in a stressful shelter environment, we enlist the help of families within our community to provide temporary foster homes for our dogs.
